Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Adam T, LLC ("we", "us") handles your information when you use the ShredMax mobile app on iOS or Android ("the App"). ShredMax is designed to work without traditional accounts: no email, password, or phone number is required.
1. Information we collect
- Anonymous account identifier. When you first launch the App, we create an anonymous account with a random identifier. It is not linked to your name, email, or phone number.
- Onboarding profile. Information you enter during setup: first name (optional display name), gender, age, height, weight, training goals, activity level, training frequency, training location, and obstacles you select.
- Body scan photos. Photos you take of your midsection for AI analysis. Photos are captured only when you actively use the scan feature — the App never captures images in the background.
- Scan results. The AI-generated analysis of your photos: scores, body-fat estimate, zone assessments, and coaching notes.
- Fitness and nutrition logs. Workout sessions and food logs you record in the App.
- Purchase information. If you subscribe, purchase state is processed by Apple and our subscription providers (see Section 3). We do not receive your payment card details.
- Device and install information. App version, operating system, device model, IP address, and device or advertising identifiers available to the operating system may be processed for install attribution, subscription analytics, fraud prevention, and diagnostics.
- Usage and attribution analytics. Anonymous product events (for example, which screens are used and whether a scan completed) and install attribution data used to understand which marketing source led to an install. Analytics are tied to your anonymous identifier — never to your name or photos. We do not send your photos, food entries, or free-text content to analytics.
- Crash and diagnostic data. If the App crashes or encounters an error, an anonymous crash report (stack trace, device model, OS version) is sent to our error-reporting provider so we can fix the problem. Crash reports are not linked to your identity and contain no photos or personal content.
2. How your scan photos are handled
Your scan photos are the most sensitive data in ShredMax. Here is exactly what happens to them:
- Photos are stored on your device and uploaded to a private storage bucket that is not publicly accessible.
- To generate your analysis, a photo is processed by our AI vision provider for the sole purpose of producing your scan results, then the analysis is returned to your account.
- Photos are never used for advertising, never shared with other users, and never used to identify you.
- Deleting your account permanently deletes your photos from our storage.
3. Service providers
We use a small number of providers to run the App. Each receives only what is necessary for its function:
- Supabase — database, anonymous authentication, and private photo storage.
- OpenRouter — AI processing of scan photos and plain-English food lookups.
- PostHog — anonymous product analytics.
- Singular — install attribution and anonymous conversion analytics.
- Sentry — anonymous crash and error reporting.
- RevenueCat and Superwall — subscription management and paywall display.
- Apple and Google — app-store distribution and payment processing.
4. What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use your photos or account content to personalize or target advertising. Device and install information may be used only to measure campaign performance.
- We do not share your data with third parties except the service providers listed above.
- We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The App is intended for users aged 13 and older.
5. Data retention and deletion
Your account content is retained while your anonymous account exists. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account in the App. Deletion removes your account, profile, scan photos, scan results, food logs, and workout history from our systems. Service providers may retain analytics and attribution records, including pseudonymous identifiers, for a limited period; those records may later be aggregated or deidentified. Apple or our subscription providers may retain transaction records where required for billing, fraud prevention, accounting, or legal compliance. You can also clear the App's local cache from settings without deleting your account.
Because accounts are anonymous, deleting the App without deleting your account may leave data we can no longer associate with you; contact us if you need help removing it.
6. Data security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Scan photos live in a private bucket accessible only through short-lived signed URLs generated for your session.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Most of these can be exercised directly in the App (viewing your data, deleting your account). For anything else, contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
8. Health disclaimer
ShredMax provides fitness estimates generated by AI, including body-fat ranges and muscle-definition scores. These are estimates for motivational and informational purposes only — they are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a qualified health professional before making significant changes to your diet or exercise routine.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the effective date above and, where appropriate, notice in the App.
